Last night, as part of the Red Bulls' Countdown to Kickoff series of events, Jozy and rookie David Roth appeared at the ESPNZone in Times Square to sign autographs and mingle with fans.
A large contingent of fans came out to meet the players and get excited about the season opener this weekend. RBR found out that some fans had been waiting since 2:00 PM for the players to arrive at their scheduled time of 6:30 PM. RBR tips its hat to those loyal Red Bull supporters!!
The guys also spent some time in the game room at the ESPNZone, but no word on whether Jozy or Dave got the upper hand.
The season opener drawing near, but its not too late to take part in the final Countdown to Kickoff event, which takes place TODAY, Thursday, from 7:00-8:30 PM at Mulligans on First. First Team players slated to appear include: Chris Leitch, Jon Conway, Mike Magee, and John Wolyniec. Come out and meet the guys, get excited for the 2008 Red Bull season, and catch the MLS doubleheader on ESPN2.
