The team went through a vigorous training session today on the game field at Giants Stadium, as the club continues preparation for the season opener on April 5 against Columbus. The guys played a series of short field 11 v 11 games, and ended the session with the midfielders and forwards going through finishing drills as Coach Osorio continues to maintain a high level of competition in his sessions.
The team leaves tomorrow for Cary, North Carolina, where the team will conclude the preseason with a match against the Carolina RailHawks.
During the training session today, a member of the Super Bowl Champion Giants, Mathias Kiwanuka did a little running on the area around the field as he rehabs from injury.
And in case you forgot, USA v Poland is on Fox Soccer Channel.. RIGHT NOW!! Bob Bradley continues to challenge the US side with difficult International Friendlies.
