After training with the team for over a month, Columbian forward Oscar Echeverry officially signed with the club today. Echeverry will add depth to a talented front line that already includes Juan Pablo Angel and Jozy Altidore. Per club and MLS policy, specific terms of the deal were not released.

With Jozy away from the team for pretty much the entire preseason as he trained the featured for the Full Men's National Team and helped the U23s secure a berth in the Olympic Games, Echeverry has been the second starting forward for Coach Osorio.
During the season, the 31-year old striker will provide depth, and will step in for Jozy when the national team calls.
