FULL TIME: Red Bulls 1, Charleston Battery 1. Post-game reaction coming up.

80' Battery goal. Right after the restart, David Kenga was able to get free in the left side of the penalty box and hit a left footed shot past Thornton and into the back of the net. 1-1.

79' GOAL! More substitutions but no action until Ubiparipovic hits a free kick into the box that Kevin Mesa, one of the subs, flicks into the back of the net. 1-0 RED BULLS.

69’ Chris Megaloudis, who just came into the game, was able to knock the ball in the net after Ubiparipovic played it into box. Megaloudis was ruled offsides.

61' Palacio and Wolyniec on for Reyna and Angel.

51' Stammler lofts a ball into the ball to an open Magee, but his left footed shot from close range was pushed wide.

49' Angel hits a 20 yard shot that Hudock dives and punches away.

HALFTIME: A lot of chances for both sides but no one could break through. Two subs: Zach Thornton for Jon Conway and Sinisa Ubiparipovic for Luke Sassano.

46'+: Sassano breaks through on the right before putting Echeverry through. Later, Sassano launches a ball into the box to an open Magee, but his header went straight at Hudock.

45': One minute of stoppage time. Angel puts free kick over the bar.

44': Echeverry almost gets into the box from an Angel through ball but is taken down by Marco Reda. Yellow card Reda. Alonso gets a yellow for jumping out of the wall too soon.

37': MAGEE HITS THE POST! Off a great delivery from Borman, Magee rose up and nodded it past goalkeeper Dusty Hudock but the ball slammed off the left post.

35': Richardson again with space on the left but he lashed his shot from 15 yards out wide.

34': Sassano comes close after his deflected header from a Borman corner bounces wide.

32': King almost put the Battery ahead when he went in on goal but Conway did well to block the ball away. Moments earlier, Oswaldo Alonso put a shot from 25 yards out just over the bar.

31': Great interplay between Magee and Angel at the top of the box. This leads to Magee sending a low ball into the box that Echeverry just couldn't get to. Magee has drawn plaudits for his play from the coaches so far this season.

29': After Jack Stewart wins the ball, he lays it off to Darren Spicer, whose right footed curling shot went past the right post.

21': Battery come back with a great opportunity when Richardson comes down the left wing with space before blasting a shot that Conway pushes over the bar.

19': Red Bulls had the best chance of the match when Borman whipped a ball into the box that was flicked over the ball by Angel.

17': Mike Richardson whips a corner into the box that Conway punches out of play. On the ensuing kick, the ball is flicked goal-bound but is cleared by a Red Bulls defender.

16': Borman lofts a ball into the box that just is out of Angel's reach. So far, the Red Bulls have put some good sequences together in the offensive end.

8': John Wilson with a good run into the top of the box before chipping over to the left wing, but Conway was able to come off his line and gather the ball.

6': Red Bulls turnover outside their own box but good defensive play by Parke to stop Aaron King from getting a shot off.

3': Borman and Echeverry combine in the middle of the field but Echeverry's shot went wide left.

1': Quick foul on Kevin Goldthwaite, leading to a Red Bulls free kick.

Pre-game: Currently in pre-game introductions. There is a small contingent of fans at the game on this beautiful day. Red Bulls wearing their white kits, Charleston in black and yellow.
