If you saw the score on paper, a 1-1 draw at The Home Depot Center against Chivas USA during this long road trip would not necessarily have been a negative result. However, with the way New York controlled the first half and conceded their goal seconds before halftime, there was understandable disappointment in the locker room post-game.

Quick turnaround for the Red Bulls as the team travels back home tomorrow, returning in the early evening. On Monday, the squad will head down to Annapolis in preparation for their U.S. Open Cup Third Round showdown against Crystal Palace Baltimore on Tuesday. Returning the night of the game, the Red Bulls train in New Jersey Wednesday before flying out Thursday to Denver for their regular season clash against the Colorado Rapids. Whew.

Similar to the NE match. 1 - 1 on the road should be a good result, but I can't help but feel like they deserved better.
Hopefully JPA can get healthy and JCO can bring in someone that can help generate some offense...

Two 1-1 draws on the road, two ridiculously soft goals given up. The only--ONLY--reason each was not a 1-0 win was because of stupid mistakes.
Sure, better than two losses. but how am I supposed to take a positive out of giving away 4 points?

That give away at the back was absolutely inexcusable. I can't even think of anything else to say about that, we should have won that game.
that was just like watching a junior league play soccer, come on red bulls i will take you all out for ice cream after that horrible, and stupid mistake that only little children should make! mommy will kiss it and make it better, because certainly being a professional soccer team is not on the menu this season!!!
