--------------------Wells-----------------

PRE-GAME: Here is the Red Bulls’ starting lineup:

------Van Den Bergh-----Stammler----------

Notes: Stammler will be wearing the armband as captain for the second time this season and second time in his career. He also served as captain at Houston.

Patterson-Sewell will be dressing for the second time this season. He last was among the 18 for the FC Dallas match.

This marks Wolyniec’s third start of the season. He also featured against San Jose and Houston.

Echeverry was selected for the first time since the FC Dallas game, as he injured his knee the following week in training.

DC will be without the services of Marcello Gallardo and Bryan Namoff for the match as each is serving a red card suspension.

It will be crucial in tonight’s match for the Red Bulls to limit DC’s scoring chances, as New York’s offensive options are diminished.

Good lord, this already doesn't look good.

Sickening, absolutely sickening. I don't think any other fans in the MLS suffer more than we do. I'm done with this game already, I'll put it back on during the second half.

I can count on one hand the amount of home games I HAVEN'T been to since the league was created.

I thought the lowest point I'd experienced was long behind me. But nope, I hit a new low the second that third goal went in just now. To think I've paid this team about $15,000 since 1996.

Feel free to express your displeasure with the team's performance, but please refrain from cursing. Voice your criticisms, but not in that manner.

That's right administrators you delete our comments, you expect us to keep calm when we've spent so much time and money on this team, emotionally invested in this team that has achieved crap.

Yes administrators, keep the fans from expressing there disgust with the direction of this team. What, you want us to pretend we are happy? I have followed this team since the MLS started, when this team was known as the Metrostars and this organization has yet to give the fans what we deserve, and that's a winning team.

You know what you people should do? Print out these comments and give it to the red bull organization, maybe then they will get off there butts, maybe then they will get motivated to get some players that can get the job done on the field.

Hey Admin,

I spoke my feelings, harsh as they were. I've spent more time, emotion & $$$ on this team than I care to admit.

Shame on me? Maybe so. But don't expect anything else until you put a professional team on the field.

You are a succubus.

Sincerely,

Disgraceful performance. When are there going to be consequences for this garbage?

This is a joke. Either get some players in here and treat the team seriously or sell up. What an embrrassment.

Pathetic, truly pathetic display of football. An absolute disgrace to the Red Bulls fans. I swear, we should be compensated some way for having to go through this almost, week in week out.

disgusting, Agoos needs to be fired, it is no longer trivial, he has failed to pull the trigger for this franchise, i'm absolutely disgusted to have put my hardworked money into this team, absolutely disgusted. And we won't why so few people care about this team, they're garbage, treat their fans like garbage, and just simply don't get it. It sickens me to say thing, but I envy D.C United right now, they've got a side oozing with talent, and great atmosphere. We've got a garbage team(defense is USL1 level), we've got a waste of a Designated Player in Claudio Reyna, terrible acquisition for that salary and we have to play in a dirt bowl of a stadium, and get horribly treated by NJSEA. I am truly sad to be a supporter of this "professional" sports franchise.

i'm throwing my season tickets on the field next home game, i'm sick of being treated poorly and having to watch this shame of a franchise.

Dear Mr Red Bull,

After only 7 (summer of '01) years of mind numbing mediocrity and crushing disappointment, one had hoped that the rebranding/purchase of the old Metro's would at least (as a consolation) give us an owner who demanded success at any cost. WAKE UP!!!!!!! This is an embarrassment to the red bull organisation. You are p*ssing red bull down the drain.

Our team has been a disfunctional TEAM, mostly as a result of the disfuctional organizations that ran it throuthout the 12½ seasons of its existence.

Sure, the new individuals, when they come in, they always improve the team on some miscelaneous aspect. However, other aspects, usually the ones of crucial importance, get overlooked. The result is the team continues to be better in a few ways, worse in some other ways and, OVERALL, just as mediocre!

About Claudio Reyna, we waste our time listening to him! He has not helped much at all, and it will not change. We should create the COUNTDOWN CLOCK counting the days and minutes La Reyna has left with our organization.

Go USA (vs. Barbados)!
