Number 1 on the University of Phoenix Stadium field Tuesday wasn't Danny Cepero (he's on loan at Harrisburg in USL Division 2), but Arizona Cardinals placekicker Neil Rackers, who was invited to train with the Red Bulls.
Rackers is not a stranger to soccer. In high school at Aquinas-Mercy in St. Louis, Rackers led his team to two-straight State titles as a forward. Red Bulls head coach Juan Carlos Osorio left Rackers on the field for almost the entire practice. Here's what heavy-breathing Rackers had to say about his experience:
