ANGEL TRAINS; GILKERSON AND SCHRAMM SHINE ON WEEKEND LOAN

RBR attended today's training session before the team left for Maryland and its US Open Cup match with Crystal Palace Baltimore.

Juan Pablo Angel fully participated in the training session, which a a great sign as he rehabs his injury and makes his way back to the pitch.

In other news, in an attempt to get some of their reserves more game action, the Red Bulls loaned out John Gilkerson and Ricky Schramm to the Richmond Kickers for the weekend. On Saturday, Gilkerson featured at midfield and played the full 90 in a 0-0 draw with the Cleveland City Stars. On Sunday it was Ricky's turn to feature at midfield, as he played the full 90 for his former club and scored the first goal in a 3-1 win over the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Gilkerson played 10 minutes off the bench.
