What are your thoughts on the match? Who was the man of the match? Who was the unsung hero? Are you impressed with the chances the Red Bull offense are creating? What about the defensive effort?

What bugs me about the RB's is that they for some reason only turn up the heat when they are a goal down or turn it up in the second half. No big difference this game, Kansas City score we go insane in our offense and finally tie the game up, I can only imagine what would happen in every game if we play from the start of the whistle how we play during the second half. Obviously big props to Hartman, the old man still got it and props fto Danleigh for his second goal, what a great player he turned out to be.
Goldthwaite IMO was man of the match b/c he made some great defensive tackles and even played a little offense and had more chances I think than our two best forwards. We deserved the win with how we played during the second half but we can't continue to be a one half team, it's annoying me to no end.
I think that the team played well. I also think that the goalkeeping by Hartman was outstanding and very difficult to get goals when that happens. We deserved the win, but not becuase of mistakes by the other team, which I have seen in the past and what the Red Bulls were about in the past, but because we created chances in front of the goal.
our boys need to learn how to head the ball down to the feet in a situation in the box like that. There were 2 or more goals missed because of this. IMO, we do need to play well the whole game, but also keep in mind that this formation was new to the team, and they needed to get used to it in the first half. Borman, altidore, and Angel were all men on the match, but football is a team sport, all of our team did well to get a tie when down to 10 and no manager.
