Toronto FC reserves beat New York Red Bulls reserves 2-1 at BMO Field on Friday morning. Joey Melo opened the scoring with a free kick in the 7th minute. Kevin Harmse added a second goal for TFC in the 19th minute. New York pulled a goal back in the 25th minute with a free kick from Sinisa Ubiparipovic.
