Anyone else find it weird that JPA didn't celebrate after his goal. Was it b/c his back still hurt him? His face almost looked like he wasn't all that happy scoring. IDK, anyway, Blanco's goal will probably win, though this goal was set up beautifully with that great pass from I think it was Richards.
yes, it was Dane Richards that made that beautifully weighted pass to Angel. The kind of goal celebration that JPA does is a high jump with a zorro move, so probably he doesn't trust his back yet. I think he was relieved, that his account was finally opened this season with that goal, and it was in LA, so maybe not many fans were cheering? Great team effort though
I think JPA did not do his "Angel" celebration because he stumbled and rolled on his back after he shot the goal. Otherwise, if he was standing on his two feet, he may have done it.
The worst part about these "Goal of the Weeks" is that "on the ball skills" are not taken into consideration much by voters. Think about it. Most GOTW winners are long bombs made from outside the box.
