Red Bull New York announced today that midfielder David Roth underwent successful left knee surgery yesterday to repair a detached medial meniscus from the medial joint capsule. He sustained the injury during the team’s preseason scrimmage against Hammarby IF on Feb. 15. The surgery was performed by Dr. Riley Williams at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Roth is expected to recover in 3-4 months.
