He is without a doubt a first ballot Hall of Famer, he's had a great career in Europe and I'm sure he wished he could have done more for RBNY but he has nothing to be ashamed of. He was always one of my favorites, he wasn't a spectacular player, wasn't flashy but he knew how to play this game, he was effective and he always fought and that's what I admired about him. His work ethic was undeniable and we can't let his short stay here in RBNY cloud us from what he has done for American soccer and for what he has done throughout his career.

God bless you Claudio, I wish you and your family the best.

Claudio we will miss you, I think he will have great luck in the capacity that he is staying on with the team with, he is a resource that I hope the up-and-coming players will value and use to make this team a competitive champion side.

I'm glad he retired. He's been old and bad for the Red Bulls. Jorge Rojas is already way better after just one game. Now they can use his salary to get someone much better.
